Bob Rooks wrote: “FWIW, not a good idea. ATF (any type) is formulated with friction

Tin, at the price of steel those prices seem too cheap. Of course for pallet forks there are only two tines. The brush forks we used to make had five tines.
Take a look at http://www.bucketsolutions.com/
Jack, I will get back to you I hope later today when I get a breather from other projects. With brush forks I did not worry too much about bending the bucket. A person can push into brush and get most of the load close to the bucket. If you have a heavy item on a pallet the load will be where the item is positioned in the pallet so you have little control on where the load is.
Thanks
Larry
I will add to what Ron said. If it is leaking down then isolate by plugging one cyl at a time. When they are connected to the valve the cyls are tied together so it only takes one bad cyl and it will leak down.
My loader has the quick detach nose on it. I flip two handles and change attachments. That sure is handy. In the summer I think I have forks on more than the bucket. Seems there is always something to move.
Tin, just beat me…. Yes “You” have to hold it in the H position. Around here in the middle of winter to takes about 45 seconds before the glow plugs help much.
Land Pride is a good brand. The industry joke for years was “Land Pride wow they are proud of that stuff”. If you got a good deal then that's outstanding!
I agree with Tinbender. I sounds like the dreaded hyd filter problem.
For the other poster the knob has really 3 functions. All the way closed and oil is sent to the remotes when the handle is pulled up. Then when you start to open it oil is sent the the 3 point lift. The further you open it the faster the 3 point will “fall” when you push the handle forward. There is a set screw in it so you can lock it when you get it set where you want it.
While setting on the tractor there is a knob right down in front of the seat on the front of the 3 point lift box. That knob diverts oil from the 3 point to the remotes. Is the knob open part way or screwed all the way in?
Gee I don't know guys. I have 4 chainsaws and the smallest one has a 16″ bar. I hardly use it because to me it works me harder than the bigger saws. If I drop a tree I walk up it with the saw and cut the limbs off with the same saw I cut the tree down with. (hope we are talking about the same kind of limbing). If I use a small saw I am bending over to everything. I have a saw with a 20″ and another with a 24″ bar. I normally use one of them. My two cents worth.
I know nothing about them but this company http://www.ricksautosales.net/
is in Kenton Ohio and is listed as a dealer.
But it looks more like an advertisement site.
