What made me laugh looking at the last video was the truck.  Many years ago I worked for a land leveling company.  They had an old hunk a crap like that truck with a 5th wheel and a low boy trailer.  They bought a used D9.  They used that truck 4-71 and all to haul that 9 around locally from job to job.  I actually got up to 12 miles an hour ONCE!  roflmao

Here is one more that illustrates the use of starting fluid. Stand back.

I completely agree with Bob.  I ran a flow bench some years ago at a place where I worked.  It takes training and knowledge of the pump you are working with.  Without any specs or known settings there is nothing even a trained person can do with it and this is no place to take a shot in the dark and hope you get it right.  It is not worth risking your engine or worse yet your body parts when it scatters.

Mike, that picture is of a Roosa Master injection pump.   I don't know of anybody that has such a view of your pump.  If you have a problem with it about all you can do is get a new one.  The rebuild specs and internal parts are not available for the Chinese pumps that I have ever found.    Good luck.

All this means is that I have worked on every piece of crap that was ever built . roflmao

jonesgrove, now we a a bit more clear.  That line is a oil line not a vacuum line. You might want to check the vacuum lines near the top of the engine.  Look for the Chinese rubber to be split etc.   I had two new 454s that had slow response on one because of a split hose  and a traveling miss on the other because the vacuum hoses were connected backwards from the factory.

ironhorsemike, make sure that you did not bump the compression release.  Some of them can get a little tweaked and they don't return all the way.  It's worth a look.

Bob I think perhaps Rich was talking about he other end of the pump shaft.  Inside the pump.  In that case many of them have a tang drive such as item 99 in the attached.  The tang drive made it easy to field replace the pump.  I recall a dimple on the shaft and one inside the pump so a person would really have to screw up to get it 180 out. pump

jonesgrove, please explain more about the vacuum line that you say goes to the crankcase.   Normally the pump on the back of the alternator operates an EGR bypass valve near the top of the engine.  What tractor do you have?  What engine?

I thought the most extreme national anti-choice bill we've seen in a decade was perhaps forcing people to buy insurance they may not want and then levying fines against those who refuse.

The truth is both of the major parties are only good at one thing and that is divide and conquer.  As long as they keep people at each other they can do what they want which never matches what they say they are going to do.  We can attribute every problem we face to these two parties.   In my view they are both cull. Watch what they do and ignore what they say is my rule.

We can't get any real answers out of elected officials.  I contact them all the time with questions but only get propaganda for a response.  I stopped sending questions but instead make statements.   The following statement was sent to all of my representatives and the White house.  It read  “It is intuitively obvious to the most casual of observers that the Keystone XL pipeline is designed to get oil out of the country not into it”.

The response was more “canned” propaganda.

It is an interesting world we live in.  Paula Deen would have far less press coverage if she would have done something minor such as killed someone.  Of course the press coverage also depends on the weapon used.

As we celebrate the 4th lets not forget what it meant to sign the declaration of independence at the time.  You were signing your own death warrant.  Jefferson died exactly 50 years after signing it on July 4th 1826.  On his death bed he kept asking if it was the 4th yet.   When they told him that it was he was soon gone.
