Most FT404 tractors came with the SL3105 Engine, you must have the 490BT engine,I have a lot of Foton parts in stock including a 3- point rebuild kit if you need it

Universal Hydraulic fluid is AW046 wt. oil, its just a little thicker oil but will work, I like the thinner hydraulic oil is starts moving faster

It is a green wire not sure if the number ?,I would say it's either a bad key switch or 3- bad glow plugs, yes the glow plugs will work separately .Take a Hot wire from the battery and put it on where the green wire attachs to the buse bar, with the key on you should see a amp draw if the glow plugs are working. If that works its a bad key switch, if not its bad glow plugs

If you have all that disconnected, I would look for a dead cell in the battery

What makes you think that there is grounding in the harness? Most of the time its the voltage regulator or the alt. out causing the charging  problems, more so the voltage regulator. Not sure which one you have, 1-type Plugs into the fuse box, 1- type is on the engine block same side as the alt.The one on the fuse box tends to get loose , some have zip tied them in to keep it from happening again

You need to make sure the circlip did not break that's what will also let the balls fall out.

If you look in your parts book it will show you all the parts and there position

                  2- Couplers

                  1- 8mm pin

                  1- 4mm pin

                  1- Star washer

                  1- Circlip

                  12- Ball bearings

                  2- rubber dust caps

                  1- Spring

                  1- Spring washer

I would recommend if the shaft is bent that you replace it

The part behind the hose is the fuel pump gear housing, there is no water in there ???  .Look up higher you prob. have a bad water pump and it's leaking out of the bottom of the water pump onto the housing  that you think is leaking
