New injectors are around $ 50.00 each, I have found that diesel injection shops will charge alot more than that to clean and adjust the injectors, plus your time and fuel to take them, pick them up.On the chinese tractors I think it's less cost just to replace them, this does not hold true on the Cat, Perkins,Cummins, ect. because those injectors cost $$$$$$$$$$.

August 29, 2011 at 8:14 pm in reply to: Task master dealer? How hard to replace clutch on 432d #33101I agree with Rich, the existing clutch might just need adjusting ? I have seen about 80 % of all new Jinma & Foton tractors that all needed clutch adjustment from day one, I'm sure the Taskmaster is the same. That said not knowing how many hours or exactly what the tractor is doing now, clutch replacement requires you to split the tractor,Chip at Artrac keeps some DF parts but I know some of the older models require different parts. I would contact Chip to confirm

Sounds like you need to remove the 4 x 4 driveshaft, then check the front differential, the shaft has a coupler on each end, 6- ball bearings on each end,so it could be one of those parts bad or a gear in the front 4 x 4 box.Start with removing the shaft

When you unbolt the cover the shifter will come up with it, it's pretty easy to remove so you can see what's going on.

Rich is correct ,the ball bearings are 8mm. Pay close attention to the shaft also if it's worn the balls will not stay in place for any length of time. The rear coupler has a spring, compress that spring and you can remove the shaft. We keep all the replacement parts in stock.

You are going to need a multi meter or know someone that has one to test the output on the alt.,or you an remove it and have it checked at the auto parts store.
I have seen more voltage regulators go bad than alt. on the 254/284 tractors

August 20, 2011 at 6:19 am in reply to: OK this is just crazy! Cluch occasionally sticks and will not disengage from flywheel! #33041They bent hub could be the problem, I have also seen the roll pin in the clutch fork break and cause these same problems.Sad to say you have to split the tractor again to find, fix either of these problems..
When you say youchecked the clutch adjustment and they were fine ? What is fine ?
