        So, replying to my own post–after 3 hours of beating, heating and using 20 ton jacks, we got one of the pins out that holds the steering hydraulic cylinder and we were able to unscrew the cylinder and pull the piston out. So now my question, where will I get the rebuild kit? Took it to my local guy and he did not have the needed bands and parts that are required.

        Any help appreciated.

          all flushed and as good as new! Held about 4gallons

            i had a five gallon container that was probably 3years old. Started pouring the oil in and it looked fine–water was, of cour se, in the bottom. Live and learn!
