A picture of the nameplate on the engine would be a great help because these Chinese tractors have different engines in them.
Apparently the Trojan was built by Dongfeng and others. Depending on the model, it could very well be a Jinma.
Task Master tractors was founded in 1997 by Tractors Etc in Croswell, Oregon, United States. It focused on importing tractors from China to sell in the USA at a low price. They imported tractors from Changzhou (Dongfeng, Shenniu, FengShou/Jiangling, Nanyue and Jiangsu, among possible others. Their market was mainly 20-40 horsepower tractors for hobby farmers.

Good news Ray. Making good progress. Grounding always seems to be an issue with these tractors. At least it’s simple.

Wow. #60 chain is what’s in my 40 HP Mustang chaincase.
I posed that question on another forum and got this response. Just thinking some of the parts might be interchangeable, or useful.

Have I referred you to here before? http://www.skidsteerforum.com/DesktopDefault.aspx?tabid=54&frmView=ShowForum&ForumID=1
