I would ask Yuchai were they put the serial number because I have yet been able to find one on mine, except for the bill of sale.

Nice dozer Grizz. Looks clean & tight.
PM me your email addy and I'll shoot you what I have. There is also a shuttle clutch “supplement” written by someone that took one apart, and he relates his experiences. Somewhat useful if you have that option.
My steel pole shed is pretty much mouse proof (unless they chew through steel), and except, naturally, when the doors are open. Relatively inexpensive too. Check your local building codes.
Just take the learning slow and easy, get to know your dozer, and don't be hesitant to ask questions – the one you ask could save your life.
I see you do have the shuttle clutch. I'll include the “supplement”.

Your restriction is upstream of the filter. Curious what you'll find in the sediment bowl screen.
Bet you don't treat your fuel with a biocide or any other fuel treatment.

Unfortunately, I believe he's gone. Sorry to say.

I believe Hilltrac lost his “inclination”
when he found out you can't replace the brake bands through the top cover plate. Must be his first dozer… I said they were higher maintenance than a wheelie, but it's justified.
No disrespect meant…

“Good idea on the tubing. Not sure if the hoses have any purpose once I remove the pump.”No, they don't.
“One out and one hose in the side of the engine.”
What does that mean? Please post a picture.

Great idea! Another thought would be to just remove the pump from the alternator altogether, but going the Delco Si route is just so much better all around – plus you'll have the ability to use the headlights without draining the battery.

Rebuilding hydraulic cylinders is pretty simple and straightforward – once you get them on the workbench, some you can do right on the unit.
What are your capabilities, and what resources do you have to work on it?

That was me with the “plugged orifice”.
The purpose it serves is all about clean air and air quality. See here.
But just so you know the truth, Larry is correct and it's a matter of symantics. Yes, you are required to have all emission systems working correctly. Will they hunt you down and give you a stiff fine if it isn't? Highly unlikely. Will your engine operate more efficiently if the emissionn system is “broken”? Very much so. Your call.

Not to worry. Been wrenchin' for over 50 years and thought I'd missed something. Never heard that one.
