That turned out very nice!
It's obvious the spring pad is for a larger unit, did they charge you extra?

I seriously doubt there will be a domestic replacement since things like current draw, torque, and dimensional duplicity need to be considered, but why don't you take yours into an auto parts store or equipment dealer and find out for sure and then post your findings. I'm sure someone else might like to know also.

I remember those engines in semi trucks down in the Bay Area when I was a kid. Used to see them going up Altamont Pass at night, exhaust manifold and stack glowing very bright orange. Not red, but orange. I loved those engines. Your engine needs a bit of a “clean up” I think. I'll guess it's in a Seagraves?
Have you seen this?

Larry,
So sorry to hear that. Although not as serious as rheumatoid arthritis can be, I was recently diagnosed as having osteo-arthritis. The onset was like yours, starting with the finger and moving to the right wrist and thumb, then to the left hand, this over the course of 1-1/2 weeks. I was thinking to myself WTF is this!! A two moth regimen of high powered anti-inflammatory and other drugs made me functional again – until next time.

OK, I'll try to find my reciept, but it looks like you're on top of it now.
I had no problems at all. Sorry I can't be more timely.

WOW! I think I'm seeing six-in-a-row with a quad, Roots blower, and well heated chrome headers. I know it says “Farmall” but is it a tractor of sorts?
Trying, in my head, to figure out the paint job…

If I remember correctly, they are both ground wires, one coming from the voltage regulator, and another coming from the EGR valve sensor. Trace them out. Even though this is the new alternator you should be able to see the two black wires attached to the frame.
