Does anyone know where I can get one to fit on my hose and pump or can tell me where to get tge parts to make one?
There was several threads on this in the old forums. The metric ORFS to JIC/NPT adapters are available from either Affordable Tractor or Ranch Hand Supply (don't remember which – try both) or over the internet.

Well it could be, knock on wood, that you still had residual coolant in the oil system, and that there was still air in the cooling system. I recommend doing a cooling system pressure check now.

WOW! A Cat 15 , 4 cylinder gas engine. Barely remember those. Some had aftermarket rear mounted hydraulics I think .

Sounds like a cracked liner or block now. I know you said you had the head checked, but weren't specefic. Did you have the head dye checked (http://www.skygeek.com/ats-za70.html) or Magnaflux particle checked or pressure/vacuum checked for 12 hrs.? Eyeballs don't count.

The pump you have turns at engine speed, that's what the upper PTO does. It sounds to me like there is debris in the pressure relief valve (PRV) and it isn't seating properly. Make sure before you take it apart to clean it to put witness marks on the large screw and valve body so you get the same relative pressure setting when you put it back together.

One site wants to know how many acres you own (is that necessary?)

A washer all by itself will blow out in seconds, it must have a capture groove.
The ORFS fittings have an O-ring capture groove on one part, if you can duplicate that with your steel piece, fine, but that's why the use of copper – to get the “crush” that takes the place of the O-ring.
Glad to hear the copper is holding up so far.

You can make a compression test or leak-down test adapter from an old fuel injector or an old glow plug. You're not likely to find the correct adapter in any kit.
If you have compressed air handy you can perform a crude leak-down test with just a rubber tipped air nozzle stuck in the injector hole. Max. 20 psig.

I'm thinking Phil needs a pretty big alarm over the sound of a dozer.
I tried a peizo-electric horn, it was too much. Switched to an amber strobe light mounted under the ROPS.
I used the same gauges that are included in the WD100 panel.
Pics are in the old forum.
