OK, just never seen a priming pump like this.  It is screwed all the way down with spring compressed, it takes about 10-15 turns ccw and then the plug and spring comes out in your hand

as it unthreads it moves up about a inch and spring uncompresses before the spring and plug/knob  pops out,  you can’t pump it like a normal priming lever

Thanks, I did not know Lenar tractors existed but after a google search I can see the Lenar 204 looks lust like the farm pro 2420 (other than Blue color), also looks like parts avalibility will be like my Tafe 25Di tractor, and Farmpro Trac king dozer , something that dosent exist anywhere.  Love the price on the imported equipment and the adventure of try to find parts or the DIYing involved.

Maybe, guess I never used that function. My experience with blades were always on tractors until I got the dozer. Now I learned a new use for the 6 way blade, will try it out when playing around in the dirt.

Thanks, that’s the answer I didn’t want to hear but knew it would would probably be the one I got, guess I will have to plan on a diy for everything related to the dozer.

                Bob Rooks,

I could not get any response from Farm pro or Northern tool, however I did get the correct starter from Keno tractors, the gear reduction  starter really spins the 395 engine over fast.  Back to playing in the dirt again, the old starter looked very crud compared to the new one which looked very well make, good to see they are making better replacement parts for these Chinese machines.

Yep, Bob I saw a older thread from Keno Tractor, called them and talked to a guy named Adam which helped me with the starter problem.  Great service from those guys,  you can’t get anyone here in the east or mid east to listen once you say Chinese built.

Thanks, I will pull the old one off and go from there.  I did not get a manual with the dozer and have had no luck getting one from Farm Pro, even when it was still under warranty.
