Thank you for the follow-up. I rechecked all filters and replaced the fuel strainer, cleaned out the fuel tank, and refilled it with fresh fuel. I found two out of three glow plugs were bad (bench checked) so replaced all three. I thought that would do the trick, but the darn tractor still did not start. I ordered three new fuel injectors to try next. After that, I may focus on the injector pump itself, especially after a fuel cut-off could also be a cause. I did try starting fluid sprayed into the air filter, but that only made an internal racket in the engine, but did not start. At various times, the exhaust from the stack was white. On another note, I did replace the governor oil, too. My Jinma 284 has performed well for me since 2005, with normal expected maintenance requirements; however, I got a good deal on a Yangdong Y385T fuel that will be the next project if the new injectors do not pan out. I will keep you filled in on my progress as time goes on. Thank you again for the follow-up.
