well others can chime in but I do not feel that it would not hurt anything to add a weep hole in the bottomside of the elbow, cause you never know unless you have the crystal ball I have been looking for.
there should be one on a up swept exaust ,mine is in the elbow it is only about 1/16 inch hole, when I think of it I check mine if I walk by it when it is running.
a little fence some seed some cows, dinner
does your exaust manf have a weep hole that might be plugged up?
have you found a reason for the damage yet ?
are you using 15/40 engine oil vs a straight weight oil .15/40 will give you faster lubrication at colder temps.Where I used to work the fleet was powered with propane and they circulated warm water thru the regulator to keep the propane from icing up.,in the winter we blocked off part of the radiator to make the heaters work, but these trucks were old with I think 160 f thermostats.but you still had to keep a good eye on the temp gauge as it warmed up thru the day.
I guess in hind sight the glass should have been placed thick side up cause in 1100 billion trillion years the glass would have moved down to create a flat pane.I do not think I' ll wait for it to happen.
well I learned something new today I had no idea glass could move.Is there hard and soft glass? does one move easier than the other,or is plate glass all the same?
depending on where you are make sure you get one that has good power we have sycamore and hackberry, elm and some other hardwoods that are tuff to split cause the grain swirls thru the log. I have a splitter that is rated at 27 ton and splits it but it dont like it when it is around 12 inchs or so. But it is free to me so I use it and the above woods burn well, nice btu's.If all you have is like maple, oak, hickory they split easier.but I do not think I would fool around with aything rated less than 20 ton.
I have dug up old glass and seen the purplish color and I just thought that was the color it was blown or cast in.and the deformation I assume that excess heat causes this?
