it has a factory screen that I have put window screen over . I will keep a eye on it, maybe I will have to do the battery relocate option.
I did not look at it till the next day, but I will look at the fix. Got the radiator back, they had to cut 5 tubes and solder over at the tank but tractor seems to be ok with it, it was pretty hot today and temp. held steady at 175 F. pulling a 5 ft. finish mower for about 1 hour so I think it will be ok.

call Tommy back and ask them what the ohm reading should be on the sending unit cold, you will need a ohm meter to read it. The sending unit just uses one wire if I remember right so you will be reading from the post to the body of the sender(ground). if he knows the hot ohm reading you can heat up some water and immerse the unit to check the upper end also. I suppose you can just heat up some water and see if the ohm reading changes that would put you towards the gauge or the wiring to it .
I do not have a clue what causes that , course I am kinda computer stupid. with that said, a new pump came in and it did not have a weep hole either, but it fit perfect so it has been installed. just waiting for the radiator to be repaired, luckily I found a guy that still can repair one. a new one with this dong feng part # 200.00.032 has been hard to find.

yeah fan is plastic and only about 14 inch’s so I could not see any movement with the bubble. I guess if it was reallllly off it would have shown bubble movement ,the idea was good though. That pump was a 2005 so will just say it was due.
I was told when I bought my tractors years ago that blanks would have to come from china , of course they can be cut here. but that might have changed it has been awhile. I would say look at the sponsors of the site but they are not listed anymore, I think keno tractors might be who you need to contact, maybe?
