yes you said it is a 610 series skid steer but when I looked them up they ran a 4 cylinder Wisconsin . I have a 2 cylinder Wisconsin with no references in the history at Bobcat about that engine. All the fuel and hydro. pump attachments look like factory , like it is a original engine. Maybe it will have the same model # even though the engine is not covered . We shall see when I get the serial #. Then find out what the real model # is. Glad it was just a alt. bearing. Things that make you shake your head , I have a 2008 ford ranger with a 2.3 the daughter has a 2008 ford fusion with a 2.3 mine has spark plugs hers has permeant electronic ignitors. oil filters are different too. remember when if you had a same year and displacement 99% of the time they were the same, things were simpler then. yeah dash out not fun.

also I got the skid steer working so I got about 1500 in it , I guess it worked out picking it up with the only cost was fuel to go get it. when it warms up will pressure clean it so I can find the serial # so I can figure out what model it is.

If you determine that the fuel bowl seal is a problem, I would buy a new after market one. Chances are it will be better made. They come in several styles. The one on my foton had a plastic bowl which is difficult to see thru , I changed it to a ford clone with a glass bowl works great.

make damn sure that your in neutral when jumping , my 2006 foton ft504a just last year I needed to relocate the ground from the batt. somehow there got a resistance between the batt. box hardware where the ground was to the engine. so I relocated the ground to the engine block. Took care of problem with low cranking speed and or nothing happening when attempted starting.

not to get into the middle of this but would there be any advantage non detergent iso oil? I would not think so. Unless such a small volume in the pump and a foaming action? nah do not think so

                    try running engine from a remote fuel source (portable tank) then check return line to see if it cleans up. How does the engine oil and coolant <span style=”display: inline !important; float: none; background-color: transparent; color: #333333; font-family: Georgia,’Times New Roman’,’Bitstream Charter’,Times,serif; font-size: 16px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: 400; letter-spacing: normal; line-height: 24px; orphans: 2; text-align: left; text-decoration: none; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; white-space: normal; word-spacing: 0px; word-wrap: break-word;”>look?

First pull the screw out and see what is stripped if you are lucky it will be the screw. Use a thread pitch gauge to see what it is and get a replacement and I think there is a sealing washer there too. If it is the hole you will have to tap it with the closest size up being very careful to get the shavings from going into the pump. Either metric or sae will work if you can get a appropriate matching screw and washer. Many of the Chinese machining are oversized holes and undersized screws so the threads are weak and we wont get into questionable metals.
