if your tractor has a common sump as diff. trans, hydros ,power steering, universal tractor fluid is ok. If hyrdos only aw-32 is ok as long as you are not running in extreme heat conditions then aw-46 I would think.
glad you were able to post the pictures of those brakes, never seen that before, interesting . When you decide to lube things up use hi – temp. lube.
I am assuming that your tractor has dry brakes , if so take off the covers ,I think you will see two small shoes. They pivot one end and there is a cam on the other end that pushes the shoes onto the drum . I have a dong feng le 204a so I may be incorrect on what I am telling you. But mine the shaft that has the cam was dry and rusted as it went thru the housing so the brakes on that side did not work properly . took that shaft out used some emery paper on it lubed it lightly reassembled and it is good to go. Hopefully yours is similar.
I guess being a old timer on this site has it’s advantages , short passwords
yeah I am in Cleveland, Tn. and we got a full show, I wish it would have lasted longer ,but with a cold one in hand it was great!
I do not know the #’s of the filters check the sponsors of this site under directory’s listed on the header. But the engines use 15-40 wt. diesel engine oil and usually aw-32 in hydro systems. Sometimes common sump transmissions, differentials can use a heavier weight hydro – trans fluid. Best to ask the dealers what they suggest. Straight gear boxes and axles 80-90 wt. gl-4 is always safe choice. gl-5 can be used but it needs to be formulated with out chlorine so in case there is yellow metals in there they wont be affected.
if you do not have a compression release it is not a big time consuming task. if you do it take some finagling with the extra parts, I read I think on the old forum that the gasket material used is hard and retorquing is highly suggested and a good time to set the lifters too.
I did both of my Chinese tractors and all of the bolts were loose enough to turn some, but of course there is a torque window and a difference in wrench’s soooo. But I have heard on this forum of leaking head gaskets and thus a head removal and new gasket being then needed. and then a oil change and coolant change. Soooo torqueing again is easier and cheaper or roll the dice. have a nice day
any time some joy can be found under hard times it is a good thing to do
the only trouble with it is ,it is to pretty to use!
