not that this helps you out but I have a 2005 lenar(dong-feng) 204a it has a filter screen in a tube approx. 3″x12″ under the floor pan as also does my 2006 foton 504a . I assume they are on the return line.
I have heard of people using a outside wood burning boilers to heat the bldg. and floor, just a thought if you gots lotsa fallen wood sitting just going to rot.
I would add even semi broken like a bad injector pump buy 2 make 1 plus extra parts for future. just a possibility. only if the price is right. also you might want to check out what other engines might fit in that frame. sometimes people get lucky it might be your turn.
now that you have the engine info contact some of this sites sponsors they should be able to figure something out . look at the cost of a new tractor and make a choice one way or another. you can always try to low ball who has the tractor now , with that 6500 dollar engine replacement cost. then go from there.
take it off and take it to a hydro. repair shop , it could go either way. remember to seal off or rise level the hose ends to minimize fluid loss .
I believe that what you are referring to I have no name for but what I think it does is to cause the intake air to swirl and the dust be separated out then sent out the (lack of a better name) pooter valve which is that rubber valve on the lowest part of the air cleaner. The vacuum of the engine pulses that valve to work and shed the dirt. I THINK
The size might help and back or front , but since I see it is a 204 , I have a 2005 dong feng le204a and got a 5 x 12 inch front AG tire from eBay . the 20 inch rears are still real good.
Yes it can be quite of a adventure alright! I am waiting on a container now for some small parts
this is apples and oranges but I have a dong feng ( badged as lenar le 204a) with their y – 380 engine and it is rated a 20 hp 3 cylinder. That might reflect the 20 on yours ?
That over under you have is a m-6 scout I got one with the 22 cal. being 22 hornet instead of 22 lr. They got .410 slugs that would do some damage but you only got 1 shot. I know that some .410 will chamber 45 colt. I think a revolver at .357 or larger bore would be your best bet.
