back to the electrical grease I like it because you can coat the post and terminal before you place on the terminal on the post since it is conductive you will not add non conductive stuff into the sqeeze type battery terminal ,but that is just me fillin in the voids

fyi if you know a electrician ask them for the no oxide conductive grease they use on alum. wire in large connections like meter bases, panels or transformers.works great and gives you a never sieze properties also.

I sense a bit of temperal jealousy.but may be you should not worrying about getting that copper washer out.the ones that came out make sure that they fit correctly on the new glow plugs, yes it would be best to put in new ones, but if you torque it properly you should be able to reuse the one vs. tearing who know what  trying to get it out. remember never sieze

I know they are new but it might be a good idea to test them first before installation.I remember reading a while back that people have had several bad ones out of the box.

if it is not a maintence free batt. use a hygrometer to measure the acid levels in the cells then use a load tester to stress the batt. you could look at amps the battery takes when it is charged and a fast top off to a full charge means that the batt. is maybe sulfated, and junk

I do not know of likely but if you have a volt meter with a dc amp setting (not milliamp) pull off the + cable put the red meter lead on the batt.take the blk lead and place it on the + cable .with everything off there should be no amps flowing thru the meter,if there is try pulling each fuse to see if it drops off.(most fuses are controlled thru the key switch) but some might be hot all the time.It will be a process of elimination.

some switches turn to left from the off postion to heat just so you know this is possible with some tractors.can you come up with the engine name and model from the block tag so we can have more info. to further guess if your tractor even has glow plugs.
