I use the clutch alignment tool to line up the splines on the shaft to match the clutch disc but still can’t get to to pull closer than 1″.  Rotating the PTO shaft and/or the flywheel doesn’t seem to help.  What am I doing wrong?

there is enough room to reach in the side opening and screw the clutch bolts into the flywheel as you rotate it to each location as long as you already have them installed in the clutch holes. Still debating which way to go. Having trouble locating the alignment tool (out of stock at the places I called) anybody have one for loan?

I just replaced my clutch on my Jinma 354 because my throw out bearing was seized but the clutch was not hardly worn after ten years of using it to pull a bushhog. you just have to disconnect a lot of hydraulic lines and electrical connection then block up the front end by the bell housing and use comealongs to pull the back half away using a floor jack underneath the gear box to let it roll back without changing the alignment to the front half.

I figured out the throw out bearing was pressed onto the sleeve behind it that was connected to the yoke by two springs. I had to heat up the bearing and cool the sleeve to get it to come off. I thought it would just slip on that sleeve but the new one seems like it needs to be pressed on.??

One article said he adjusted the clutch to a 10mm gap.  Isn’t that a lot bigger than the nominal .1″ gap that other forums mention?

Is it the same for the 300 series Jinma?
