Don't refill your injector pump with motor oil.  They use ISO-100.

If there's diesel in your injector pump oil that usually is a sign that your pump is going out…  Although your problem does sound a bit strange.  Diesels only need air and fuel and compression to run.  Sounds like you've got more then enough fuel. Will be interested to see what the problem is.

Youll wanna pick your loader up first then put those feet in.  Then roll the bucket forward and set it down until the feet that you just put in touch the ground, basically you just wanna get all the weight of the loader on the bucket and those feet.  Then go up to your front loader wings.. where that big bolt on the threads that hold the pin is at.  Loosen that up and remove the pin.  You may have to do a little prying.  After those are out, go up to the front of the tractor and remove the two small pins that hold the front support on.  After that your ready to take off the loader, use the bucket and lift cylinders to wiggle it around until it looks loose and will slide out. Then back your tractor our just a little bit, don't stretch the hydraulic lines that go to your loader valve. When your in a good spot to unplug the hydraulic lines shut er off and unplug them from the loader, plug them back into themselves. Your good to go!! Hopefully this helps.  I can get you pictures if need be.  Have a good day! cool

I talked to my mechanic more…. and he still thinks that it is the pump also.  I really don't see much else that it could be.  That is really the only tractor that came with one fluid for the tranny and hydraulic fluids.  Also the only tractor we have had this problem with so far, and both times it was the pump.  Also, he did say that one of the times we had this happen it was sucking engine oil and overfilling the hydraulics out the vent tube…  Id do some more checking on that.

Yes i saw that, but that's really the only place in the tractor where they hydraulics and engine oil have anything to do with each other? That's why i would tend to think that its the pump. Unless you've got a seal out, but then i would think that you would see the oil in the clutch housing.

The problem is your hydraulic pump. The seals go out in it and let hydraulic fluid into the engine.  At least that was the problem when we had this issue, and i would be fairly certain that you've got the same issue going on.

Use H46 Hydraulic fluid.  Do not use universal tractor fluid. Hope this helps you out!!!!

We had this exact problem with a 164 that we had about a year ago!!!  If you call monday and talk to George he will be able to tell you exactly what is wrong with your tractor.  Hope to hear from you!!
