I’m getting ready to use my bh attachment and dig 1800 ft. for a waterline. I’m on reclaim way too much rock for a trencher. I’m putting in a couple of yard hydrants and came across YARD HYDRANTS MADE EASY which utilizes a pitless attachment . If the hydrant ever goes bad loosen 2 bolts pull hydrant up take pit-att. off old put on new and re-insert – two bolts and done. NO DIGGING – so I bought 2, because yard hydrants eventually go bad. Just thought I’d share this.

You should buy another, cause if one goes bad in a few years, you may not be able to get parts for it.

In a few years he wont be able to get parts for what?  The backhoe attachment?

No we didn’t try that, should’ve!  But the engine was sold, so we just put a new head on it.  A YD2 head.  Worked just fine….  Just kind of a head scratcher.

Some of the Jinma tractors did not have their own fluid reservoir.  They had a oil tube coming from the crank case.

When those injection pumps go out they leak all the fuel into the fluid reservoir, either the self contained one, or the crank case.  You may want to look into that.  If that is the case I should have a pump for you.  Would just need pictures.

I was thinking different face angles,  took both intake and exhaust valves out and they are the same length.

Once you put them in the head, exhaust valve sits a little bit lower then the intake valves, on all 3 cylinders.

I talked to my mechanic he said for your situation try, thick one down, thin one up.
He said he has seen them put in all different ways from the factory.

Did you be sure to put the seals in the right way?  Both with springs towards the top.  If they are in backwards it will cause them to leak.

Also, was one of the seals thicker then the other?  This should be a simple fix.

It usually takes about 10-12 hours for us to do a full clutch job in our shop.

Keep in mind, this is with all the right tools, and a very experienced mechanic.  It is a pretty simple job though, I have personally done quite a few.

Do you already have the clutch kit?  I have them in stock!  Comes with rear main seal, front main on transmission, all the bearings you need, clutch alignment tool.  And if you have any questions when doing the job, we can help you out.   We are the only ones who have a full service department for these tractors! :yahoo:

I can rebuild your rams if you want to send them to me.  I can do it in about 1/2 hour, and seal kits are $25.  So right around $75 total.
