that one is pretty nifty too….. Not sure if that would be very efficient though.  Those batteries are VERY VERY expensive.  30K for that tractor, when you can get a 4×4 diesel one for 13k.

Just like hybrids, they are getting more efficient.  But usually the cost of the battery and the overall price of the vehicle is not actually saving any money.  Especially if batteries ever need replacing.

I can get you any parts that you need, may have to special order some from China though.  But I do have that capability.  Do you have parts schematics for the tractor?  I have those also.  We have done this many times here at our shop.

Another way to go about this is just order the whole transmission from China.  We have done this a few times.

Let me know if I can help you out.

I know of a few people on here that have them, all our customers we have sold them to are very happy with them.

Eric,  I think we could arrange that!  Would just have to provide a small payment of 12,900.  And ill even sweeten up the deal!  Ill let you keep the tractor as along as you want! :yahoo:

Sounds like you’ve got a seal that went out in the steering box.  Sounds like the fluid is creeping up from the steering box into the steering shaft.

                  Hmmmm interesting,

I  was always under the impression that the ISO 100 would last longer and not break down as fast.  So that is not true?  I am not very knowledgeable on the different types of oil and the applications they are used for.   So a regular 15-40w oil has the anti-wear formulation?  Or it just depends on what type you buy?

Might have to do some more looking into this! :mail:

                    Morning Bob,

Most of the Jinma tractors do not use the oil in the engine to lubricate the pump, they have a separate reservoir on the injection pump.  I have heard of people using engine oil and hydraulic oil in the pump.  The reason we use this iso-100 oil is because it does not break down as fast and lubricates the pump much better for longer.

Also, most of the pumps only hold about 4 oz of oil, so even though it is a pretty spendy oil its not to costly to run it in the pump.  Bit more cost effective to spend a little extra on oil then buying a $500 pump when they go out.

As far as the H-46 goes, that is what is marked on the Mobil 50 gallon drums of fluid that we order :good:

                    Good day guys!

Your going to want to use 80-90w gear oil in the tranny/rear end/ front axle.

-tranny and rear end are same reservoir. Front end is separate.

Hydraulic system is going to use a 20w hydraulic fluid (do not use the universal tractor fluid)

-We use a h46 hydraulic fluid, some call it a aw46

Injection pump uses ISO 100 (air compressor tool oil)

Hopefully that helps!! Feel free to contact me with any more questions.  Or if you ever need parts!!

                      Have a great day.

As far as we know the Chinese are not working on making a EPA compliant engine.  Which is why we had Perkins engines imported into china from the UK.  EVERYTHING coming into the US now has to be EPA compliant.  If not they will seize the products being imported, and charge the importer something like 10,000 every DAY that that non-compliant engine is in the country.  This goes for each one engine.  They are really cracking down on the new emissions regulations.  Poor diesel engine industry…. :negative:

On a side note though! The Perkins engines run absolutely awesome.  Real powerful and responsive.  No problems whatsoever with them yet.

Mahindra bought part of Jinma, and they are working on getting a 35 hp Mahindra engine put into the 300 series tractor chassis.  They are also working on getting the 400 series compliant.  Hopefully we will have them in the country before too long!
