Bob I have the smallest gas saw that Stihl makes it is truly a one handed saw, very lite check them out
not to be rude to anyone here but I've already traveled to texas and to kansas for equipment that I found on the internet that I was looking for, you never know who has what for sale or where and I sold my dozer to a man in colorado “thanks to this site” but still have my tractor and always look for more stuff to buy. so thanks for the classifieds Hal
if you are really handy with welding and possibly a lathe, you can get two sprockets and chain…come down off your pto to a driveshaft from the back of your tractor to the front using a u joint in the back and a double u joint in the front going to your snowblower. just be careful not to raise the snowblower too high while engaged. this could be done relatively inexpensively. also make sure that you put a protective cover around your sprockets and chain in the rear so there are no accidents. good luck steve
Hal: you have come a long way with the site and the more this old dog is using it the easier it is becoming. thanks for all your work on it.
Len: go online and check out “tractor supply” and some other farm stores, I've seen them for $400.00 with auger, that is where I get most of my implements. I was going through New Mexico and stopped at a farm store and found a 5' box blade with rippers HD for $500 and (no tax) cause I was from another state. Just a thought.
Steve
Kent: take your old muffler, cut the flanged end off that bolted to your manifold, weld that end onto your new muffler. tig is best but mig or stick will work. or take old flanged end and use that for a pattern and cut a new flange for your new muffler.
2006 3500c bought 2nd hand orginally from nor trac, manual shift, steel tracks, all original, keep battery maintainer on when not in use. cleared 40 acers runs like new
Hal please advise on this post all of the sentences are cut off, it's like the page is too narrow. i'm I doing something wrong?
