      maybe a place to post a little about your self, such as tractor/dozer experience; when i am taking advice from someone i feel better when i know what their experience level is;

      also still would like to see location and tractor/dozer info under the avitar in post;

      also instead of lifetime member under the avitar maybe their membership start date;

        i don't see the russisan as being more aggresive ; but they are a little more protectve when working in the hive;  and tend to follow you as you move back from the hive,to let them settle down;  where as the italyians once you step back from the hive they will pretty much leave you alone;

        with the italyians that i started with the first year, they seem to have more trouble with the mites;  and not as motivated and hardy as the russisans ;

        i am thinking about going with a horizontal hive set up this year using the standard frames, but allowing them to fab their own comb instead of using fondation;  will just have to see how it works, it will be sort of a modified top bar hive set up

          i have a woods back hoe with a simular set up  i was having problems like yours and i borrowed a gage with a whip hose on it and plumed it into the out put side of the pump  and checked the pressure  mine is supposed to operate at 1500 psi, at 540 rpm but it was running at 1000 , keeping an eye on the gage i adjusted the relief valve  until i had the proper psi,  since then it has worked reasonable well,  even though it is still a little weak;  the tech that loaned me the gage  warned against messing with the relief valve with out having the use of a gage, as severe damage can occur if it is set too high;

            is that the one with the router, or the lathe,  i looked at something simular  several years ago but never got one;

            i guess that i would qualify more as a wood butcher than a worker, i have a shop full of tools but never have the patients to good work,  plus  it takes practice, i have books and plans to do everything from the plain to the very fancy, but i am still short on patients and practice;

                IT SEEMS LIKE MOST OF THE DISCONTENT HAS DIED DOWN EXCEPT YOU TWO;  TAKE IT TO PM MAIL OR SOMETHING;

                    RALPH YOUR ABOVE POST JUST SAVED ME A LOT OF TYPING,

                    IF THE POST FROM THE OLD SITE CAN BE SALVAGED GREAT,  IF NOT THEN AS RALPH SAID , AS LONG AS WE HAVE OUR MOST IMPORTANT RESOURCE,  OUR MEMBERS THEN WE HAVE ALL THE SEED THAT WE NEED TO BUILD ON.

                    I AM NOT REAL GOOD ON FINDING MY WAY AROUND A NEW SITE BE IT THIS ONE OR OTHERS THAT I VISIT;  BUT AS LONG AS THE MEMBERSHIP HAS A CAN DO ATTUTIDE, IT IS WORTH THE EFFORT;

                    AS RALPH SAID MOST QUESTIONS FROM THE OLD SITE WERE ASK MORE THAN ONCE;  AND I KNOW WHEN I AM BROKE DOWN AND NEED HELP IT IS EASIER TO JUST ASK, MOST OF THE TIME I DON'T WANT TO SPEND AN HOUR OR SO SEARCHING OLD POST TO FIND THE INFO THAT I NEED,  AND AS I SAID  THE RESORCES THAT I NEED ARE IN THE MEMBERS NOT IS OLD POST;

                    I UNDERSTAND THAT SOME INVESTED TIME IN DOING SKETCHES AND SUCH ON THE PREVIOUS SITE, EVEN PICS;   THAT SEVERAL WOULD LIKE TO SAVE;  AND I DON'T KNOW IF IT WOULD WORK OR NOT, BUT MY SUGGESTION ON THAT WOULD BE ;;;;

                    FOR HAL IF HE CAN SET THAT SITE AS A READ ONLY SITE, SAY CTOA#A OR SOMETHING WITH A LINK THAT COULD ONLY BE ACCESSED FOR THIS SITE;  WHICH WOULD ALLOW THE MEMBERS THAT WISH COULD ACCESS  WHAT THEY NEED FOR SAY 90 DAYS  AND COPY AND PASTE THEM BACK TO A FILE ON THEIR COMPUTER, AND IF THEY HAVE THE NEED OR DESIRE  THEY COULD REPOST HERE, USING SOME METHOD THAT HAL OR OTHERS COULD RECOMMEND   AS FOR MYSELF I SPENT TIME RESPONDING TO QUESTIONS ON THE PREVIOUS  SITE ;  BUT I WOULD NOT BE BURNDENED IF I NEED TO ANSWER THE SAME QUESTIONS ;  HERE;;;;

                    OPINIONS ARE LIKE BODY PARTS SOME WE HAVE ONE OF AND OTHERS WE HAVE MANY;

                    BUT OTHER THAN ASKING ( “NICELY” ) ABOUT SOMETHING THAT WE FEEL COULD BENIFIT THE MEMBERS AND FUTURE MEMBERS OF ( ” THIS  THIS  THIS THIS ” ) SITE  I FEEL THAT WE SHOULD LET CTOA GET THE BUGS OUT  AND GET ON WITH HELPING OTHERS WITH THEIR TRACTOR/DOZER PROBLEMS

                      I JUST DID A LONG COMMENT ON ANOTHER POST;  BU I FEEL THE NEED TO ADD TO THIS ONE;

                      FIRST I DON'T KNOW HAL PERSONALY;  BUT I DO KNOW THAT THROUGH THE YEARS, WHEN  I HAVE MADE SUGGESTIONS TO HIM, OR HAD PROBLEMS WITH THE SITE, THAT HE HAS ALWAYS BEEN VERY RESPONSIVE, AND TRIED TO WORK THINGS OUT ;

                      THIS MOVE IS SOMETHING NEW TO MANY OF US BUT NOT ALL, SOME CAN REMEMBER THE MOVE FROM THE HOMESTEAD SITE TO THE ONE WE JUST LEFT;   I DON'T REMEMBER ALL THAT WENT ON IN THAT MOVE, BUT I DO REMEMBER THAT WITH TIME WHAT WE HAD WAS SOMETHING VERY MUCH BETTER THAN WHAT WE HAD BEFORE;

                      TIME DOESN'T HEAL ALL WOUNDS,  BUT  IT DOES LET THINGS PROGRESS ,  AND I FEEL THAT IS WHAT WE NEED NOW IS TIME,  TO SEE WHAT PROGRESSES AND EACH OF US CAN HAVE A HAND IN STEERING THIS SITE TO GREATER ACCOMPLISHMENTS ;
