I would start with the linkage adjustment. Hopefully its just that. Try not to grind it at all shifting between f-n-r as it is a very thin fragile gear and is a lot of work to replace.
Hmm, just saw this is from 1/2 year ago. You have probably solved this by now. HahaSeptember 13, 2017 at 12:53 am in reply to: Anyone know where to find hyd seal kit for 20 series loader hyd #47211Thank you, but somehow mine is different. I tried a couple of different places that both say will work but somehow i have different cylinders, my cylinders have a much greater diameter. I need 40 50 6 seal.
Just looked at the date this was posted; if you tightened it to much you probably know by now what i write here; You probably have done it well but just make sure that you do not crank down the spring too tight. I assume what you are tightening is the hyd pressure bypass. If the bypass is not working properly every time you extend or retract the cylinder fully, the pressure in your whole system will spike and generally the first thing to go is a hydraulic hose. I have replaced many of my hoses because I had exactly the same problem and tightened the bypass a bit to tight. As you probably know hoses are a pain in the ass to replace as hydraulic shops don’t have this thread, they (or the best one i found anyhow) have one close which works, but definitely is not correct.
I also used the same password since about 2005 or 6 when I got my tractor but perhaps cap lock or lack of memory lock made me have to use the forgot password link. This is the screenshot password reset saying to use at least 12 characters. And yes, for the person who will inevitably reply, “you can change the password, you don’t have to use that one given in the box”, I have done that. I think it will take less than 12 but I could not find any in my usual repertoire that it would take. Guess I can write it down but sorta wrecks the point of a password.

petethose 2 16mm bolts are in a slightly difficult spot but not to bad, on my 2005 jinma they were not hard to get off.
Rich, Might be difficult to send it there. I was thinking perhaps someone here in Canada would want it and not have to deal with any border issues.
Ha, Was just a fuse. 30A
OK, thanks Ron, I will check that. I was kind of hopeing that the one little wire could have been the problem causing my complete lack of electrics.
Tomorrow will start pulling fuses and playing with ground wires.
March 18, 2011 at 11:32 am in reply to: Re: Clutch problem after sitting for a couple of months #31696Larry and Rich, To bad I did not see your posts until after I had split the tractor. Read too many posts on bad internal roll pins. It indeed was the external pins in the arm, not internal as I found after splitting it. Thought i had it figured out when i stuck a bolt in where the external pin had sheared, but as the bolt was not tight in the hole it allowed too much movement, specially after slipping out of place.
Looking at replacing the throwout bearing while i am there but local bearing shops cannot seem to get me this unit. In other posts people talked about repacking the throwout bearing. It's a sealed unit. I have a couple of 5/16 stainless bolts that are perfect size so i might replace the internal roll pins just to accomplish something while i am in there.
