Tractor doesn’t have one, you may have one in your loader valve, or some other accessories

It should purge it’s self, the top of hydraulic tank has a small hole in top of cap. Just use as normal.

Asian tractor got the three point part I needed for my 454. They ordered it from China for me.

3 point may not go down without some weight on it. Try standing on it.

I wouldn’t think it would stop the engine, but if the pump chewed itself up, that may explain the noise you heard. I don’t know of any way hydraulic oil could get in crankcase but for a bad seal. if pump is jammed, you may want to flush the system. I would dismantle pump if defective to be sure nothing is in the system. Good luck

More than likely the hydraulic pump has a blown seal, and it’s dumping oil onto crankcase. DO NOT start or run tractor with excessive oil in crankcase, as engine could go into run away condition. That tractor has two hydraulic pumps one for steering and one for loader and three point. I have a 454, but it’s up North. Not sure if both pumps connect to crankcase.

You might want to check your clutch switch. If you continue to use the Chinese sw, I would recommend that use the sw to active a relay, and that intern to engerize the solenoid. Did that with mine, no problems since.

Are you still using the Chinese quick connects on the loader? If so replace them. There is also a screen under the frame, a little ways behind the pump, follow the suction line. Does the knob under the seat have anything to do with the loader? I have a 454 from Rural King, been a good tractor, have about 100 hrs on it now. That breaks down to abt 10 hours a year. Guess I didn’t need it as much as I thought!
