I have a 284 Jinma with a ZL20 FEL that just stopped working. It had been having an issue lifting where I would have to rev engine up to start lifting. Today it just failed to respond. Power steering and 3 point hitch still works. I am assuming that the loader control valve is the problem. Anyone have ideas of anything else that could cause this problem?

      Thanks redjetster

maybe check out alibaba (that might be spelled wrong) they are the chinese ebay and see if maybe their selling and shipping policies are something you can deal with. just a thought.

David, alibaba was one of the first I checked. I just found a tire called Maxxis, it’s a Can-Am tire, the size is 25x8x12 with a weight classification the same as the original tire. It’s 1″ shorted and 1/2″ wider. It’s a Rib tread design and the best  I’m going to be able to do at this time. I ordered 2 of them, they are coming from England. I’m sick of looking!

have you taken the name brand and size off the tire and done a net search, I did one on size and got nuttin but the brand might get something.

Today I found the site of the original tire manufacture in China. I found the exact size and p/n I now have on the tractor. I emailed them with a request for distributor info and asked if they would sell and ship directly to me. I had done this with some other manufactures  and got no reply. They require the purchase of 20, 50 tires or a container full to sell. I’m going to keep my fingers crossed!!!

I am with you 1 inch should not be a big deal as long as 4 wheel is not used on a hard surface.

I didn’t read your text reply correctly, David, I have ag tires also for my tractor. I won’t use them on the lawn. when we get a reasonable amount of rain my lawn becomes a sponge. I wish I could find that size in a turf tire.

Have you checked with the Jinma dealers such as Affordable or Circle G?[quote quote=49444]Have you checked with the Jinma dealers such as Affordable or Circle G?

I usually buy parts from Circle G, I called them first and spent 2 days calling all dealers I could find to no avail. Very frustrating!

Thanks David for your reply. That might work since I’m not getting anywhere with the 26″ size. I thing the 1″ difference in the height of the tire will have a minimal effect. I only use 4 wd when needed so it might not be a big deal.

Well the problem has been solved!!! It was the worn tires that caused the whole problem. I have a friend who has a simular tractor who lives 150 miles away. When he asked if he could come up to visit us I asked if he could bring his front tires so I could try them on my tractor. Guess what piper you hit the nail on the head.

Thank You Everyone for all your help!

I am very anxious to look at this again. I think you are onto something. I think I’ll try it in 4wd and then 2wd. Curious to see how much difference there is. probably won’t get to it  for a day or two.

If my tires hopped 14″ every revolution I think I would notice that. I think I’ll have to rethink/remeasure again, Something is definitely wrong. If I subtract the front wheel, 82″ from the rear wheel, 127″ I get a differance of 45″. If I add the 45″ to 82″ I get 127″. I think instead of leaving the tractor off the groung and measuring the travel I should leave it on the ground and push it along the ground for one revolution of the rear wheel and measure the marks. on the ground.
