Changed gauges to American type marine gauges that are working and weather proof.
Problem solved with readins.
I was wanting to replace it with an aftermarket gauge and the gauge I bought wont work because of the OHM,s range.
Ok thanks, that is all above my knowledge level. I have removed the sending unit and it is a float on a metal arm that goes up and down with the fuel level in the tank so I am not sure what type it is. Can I hook up a OHM meter and measure it by moving the arm up and down to get a reading? I am shooting from the hip here because I am electrically challenged when it comes to anything like this. Thanks
Thanks for the info. I should also have asked if anyone knows of a particular brand of after market fuel gauges that would work with the oem sending unit? Thank you in advance for any info.
I guess what I was trying to say is the reading on the left is 100 and the reading on the right is 40. My assumption is that the lower number would be on the left and the larger number would be on the right. Meaning that as the water temp rises it would go towards the larger number.
There is a pump on the back but it goes to the back hoe. The pump connects right above the pto shaft. The back hoe has its own tank. The power steering has a reservoir of its own and works of the hydraulic pump on the side of the motor.
Thanks for the info but I have a few questions with your answers. What does rear end with hydro pump mean? What is a sump on the power steering mean? What oil should I use in my backhoe and is there a separate tank for the front end loader? Thank You very much for the help.
No the engine remains at idle with no change to rpms or sound. All quick disconnects are attached.
Thanks Rich I will try to adjust the clutch out some. TThank You for the info on the brush hog.
