Use the same oil that is used in the engine.

Words that go with the picture are:

        1. Remove the Vent/Fill Cap for venting (Cap should be cleaned in appropriate solution and dried).
        2. Remove Drain Plugs.
        3. When oil has drained completely, replace Drain Plugs and remove black rubber cover cap.
        4. Slowly add oil into Vent/Fill Cap opening until oil starts to flow out of Full Level Overflow.
        5. Replace Vent/Fill Cap and wait for oil to stop dripping from overflow.
        6. Wait at least 15 minutes after dripping stops to replace black cover cap and start Tractor.

I have the Jinma 284 and the injection pump definitely needs oil changing periodically and checking.

I will try to post a picture:

            Raymond,

Are you sure that the hyd hoses are correctly connected?

I have the Jinma 284 and could post pictures of correct connections.  However, I no longer remember how to post pics on this site.

              Rob,

Talked with Burley Tractor (http://www.burleytractors.com/home.html). They still do some limited repair/parts things. He said that he wasn’t aware of anyone in Washington who still did repairs – except perhaps a guy in Roy. You might call Burley Tractor to get more information.

                Robert,

It appears that this site has gone backwards and no longer offers the capability of sending other members a Private Message. That is unfortunate since this was one of my favorite sites for communicating with other tractor owners after the members of the CTW (Chinese Tractor World) site stopped postings due to discontinued interest of the site owners. It appears that it leaves only the TBN (TractorByNet) site that offers a full range of Internet tools for Chinese tractor owners.

I have no interest in using any of the Social Networks since they all seem to have lousy protection of their Users information.

                (end of soapbox)

I no longer own the JW03 backhoe. I exchanged it for an Ansung backhoe because I needed more precise control of the bucket movements. But I did make up a CD for the new owner that contains information that I collected over the years on the JW03. If you are interested, I can mail it to you.

I have set up a temporary Email address (shar_rons2000@yahoo.com). If you send me your Email address and mailing address, I will send you the CD.

Thanks, Bob  = got it and set you up as friend.  Don’t know how to communicate with it though.  And I don’t see how I can add a friend.

                    Robert,

What is the model number  on the backhoe (JW=03, Lw-06, ?)

The first thing that I would do is to install a hydraulic pressure gauge on the backhoe to see what pressure is being produced by the PTO pump.

Where does the backhoe get the pressurized hydraulic fluid to operate?

(does the backhoe have a self-contained hydraulic tank or does it get the hydraulic fluid from the tractor?)  If from the tractor, where does it come from?

                        Bennie,

Did you ever check the gears in the transmission as suggested?
