The procedure in the manual is:
Depress the clutch pedal, and put the release handle of output driving shaft in “disengage” position. Put draft control handle and position control handle in the lowering position, remove the restored oil in the cylinder, (this is the part I don't understand) then, screw in the shut off valve at the left side of the lifter, put draft control handle in the lifting position and lock it, then screw out the oil plug of the oil outlet at the left side of lifter, mounted the outlet pipe assembly and connected it with implements. then step down on the clutch pedal and put the release handle in “engage” position, thus the hydraulic pipe line can be controlled by position control handle.
There is a procedure in the handbook to change the lift controls from power lift to running a hydraulic cylinder. However, it is written in Chinese English and I can't get it to work. Any advice?
yes yes. the splines are warn and they are turning. Problem is getting the bearing off so that I can put in new bolts. I have tried a gear puller but only managed to bend the bearing. It looks like the bolts go in behind the front drive gear. So it appears this all has to come off. There is where I am having the problem.
Thanks.
Thanks for replying. Situation has been resolved. The seal between the hydraulic pump and the engine failed allowing hydraulic fluid to over fill the crankcase causing the smoking. The hydraulics failed obviously from the loss of fluid. Replaced the seal and changed the oil and added fluids. Everything working normal now.
OK. Here's my latest. Replaced the hydraulic pump. Worked fine for about 15 minutes while grading drive. Then the tractor began to smoke abnormally on deceleration and the FEL stopped working. The power lift worked. I'm at a loss. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, will try.
