hi Bob- I think he's referring to what is an option, at least on my rhino,  in the chinese market it must common to have the tractors pulling air brake equipped trailers, and apparently he ended up with the air system on his machine, if his tractor's similar to mine it has  standard mechanically actuated disc or drum brakes.. Now i'm a little envious- actually considered trying to order the parts to add the factory style air system to mine…run air tools ,air up tires . Or did i misinterpret the Foton?

My understanding is that Tytan was started by Mark Leonard years after his non compete clause was up with Alamo group. Then Alamo group dropped out of the tractor business. leaving Jinma ,Shanghai, Benye  and Tianjin? the original Rhino International tractor makers open for other investors and buy outs. What model and year of Tytan do you have?

also Tytan has a new site up but it doesn't seem to be complete? don't know who carries parts for Tytan. I get what I need for my Rhino/Shanghai from Farm Boys but they Don't advertise for Tytan parts so I'm not sure/    Rich is right about starting with all the manuals.

Although used with automobile automatics, ring gears are routinely stitch welded to the flexplates from the factory I have a picture of a stock pontiac v8 flexplate but I'm new to this posting picture uploading stuff . I would agree  the use of an anerobic would have been the first choice.

Does the engine shake at around 2000 rpm? when it didn't  before. that would pretty much prove that the engine is now out of balance, if not you did a very fine job of getting those welds perfectly sized and placed  and it may last as long as any new engine, but if there is obvious vibration now     a new flywheel/ring gear will be the best bet…

I believe Yesterdays tractor co. offers  rebuild manuals for the 8n,   #2N-8n_SV  140 pages for $14.95 also  IT aftermarket shop manual 152 pages for $24.95  #FO-4   and a parts manual 228 pages for $19.95  #FO_9N2N8N_PT.  They also have a  dvd  that goes through a complete rebuild for the 9N , 2N and 8N. its # is JDV-01050 I bought a similar one to get familiar with my Ford 3000. Hope this helps
