Thanks for the info. I do have the very vague manual that came with the hoe. Unfortunatly it has a list of seals with no explanation as to where they are installed on the cylinders……
Anything on the site about rebuilding rams??
talk to the mechanic at work they are called spool valves. sorry for the mistake everyone.
maybe im incorrect but i thought the individual “valves” that control the rams were called spoolers. i couldve picked up someones slang word as well.I need help with this one as well LOL
Thanks Ron that's what I needed to see. Yours is pretty much identical. There is a flat washer on the bottom of the assembly just above the top spring keeper. Then located on top of the flat washer are the o-ring and a nylon ring. I was concerned there was a heavier rubber washer as well between the top spring keeper and the flat washer that may have dropped out when I took it apart. Mike
Checked it a little closer and noticed a leak coming from a small hole in the bottom of the spool valve body. There are two allens in the bottom that holds a small plate that the hole is in. Still disassembling…………..
Thanks Bob I”ll check for debris in the valve assembly. The joy sticks check out ok. Mike
The name of the outfit was Betst Power Equipment.
Picked one up from a company on e-bay 150 dollars that included shipping
