I got my info off of John’s tractor. It claimed the TY290 is the standard engine for a Jinma 200 series, but a very few had the TY295

        “And I don’t believe that the 354 tractors have a 295 engine..”

Correct. The 295 is an oddball 2 cylinder engine used in some 204 model tractors, never used in a 254/284 let alone a 354. And you certainly do need that engine tag information to know just what you have. As an example my 284 has a Quanchai engine. While it’s been a trouble free engine, from what I understand it was only used for a very short time and was probably installed in -1% of all Jinmas imported here.

This place has quite a few, and you may think about changing them in pairs since your other front tire is just as old and rotten  https://simpletire.com/specialty-tires-of-america-612-fa1ek-tires?stmodel=american-farmer-tractor-r-1-tread-a&stcategory=other&sttype=farm&gclid=CjwKEAiAuc_FBRD7_JCM3NSY92wSJABbVoxBNwek_E-S8iLza4ZWzaCwZ6jgBomjvWkazBNkQfpPEBoC-ZDw_wcB

And if you try to pick up 20′ of 2-1/2 foot diameter tree trunk with pallet forks on a 284 tractor (even just one end to back a trailer underneath it) you better have a bunch of weight in the back, don’t ask me how I know. Almost had to clean my shorts

Do a google search or look on Amazon, there are hundreds of companies that sell them, or visit a Tractor Supply or any ag store near you. Measure the mounting holes or get one you can drill to fit. Or like you said, just replace it with OEM if you liked your old one.

Don’t know if they’re still around but a lifetime ago when I lived there I’d take any odd or expensive dealer only clutch assemblies to Oakland friction and they’d rebuild all the parts in a few days. I just did a  search and they don’t appear to be in business anymore, I used them 40 years ago. Maybe do a google search to see if there’s a place like that still around.

I’m going to have to borrow one from a friend, I have rifles and a shotgun, and an interesting Springfield 22/410 over under that folds in half, suppose I could use that. Or maybe I should just get one. At one point I just had this feeling I was being watched, the hair stood up on the back of my neck, that was weird.

Yep. Notice the paw print is bigger than my Snow Boot print, Yikes! Standing out there alone with not even a shovel for protection looking at these things all over the place I suddenly had a guttural feeling of fear come over me, a rush I really don’t need, I mean it’s good to know it’s there and it’s a feeling I’ve never experienced in my life. The closest thing I would compare it to was when I was around 18 and walked across a wooden truss lumber flume for a mile at around 200 feet in the air, and even it wasn’t quite the same.

Not yet, these were taken at 8:30 Monday morning, We just got a dusting over ice about two hours ago. That’s a roof snow rake in the first picture leaning against the house. I ordered it from Amazon and paid $8.99 for next day ship. The “next day” was the day the Fed Ex building was condemned due to a collapsing roof. I got it 4 days later. Ironically that warehouse was only used for overnight deliveries, had I used the regular Prime 2 day it would have arrived 2 days earlier.

Well things are looking up. Today is the first day this year that all Central Oregon schools are open!
