I posted when I made them, they are in this very forum on page 2, April 2011, Pallet Forks. A nice weekend project.
Now that I think about it I believe he had to run a pipe from the transmission back to the sump or something like that, anyone else here with a better memory?
I thought you may be in Europe. As I said the 244 is not sold here in the US. All Jinma's here have separate 85/90 wt. gear oil for the transmission and axles and a separate sump under the seat for the (AW32/46 fluid) hydraulics. I remember a post a few years ago from a fellow in Germany that had issues such as yours, and his was a common sump system with a model number not sold here. I wish I could remember what his fix turned out to be.
I'm not sure what you have, where are you? They don't sell a 244 in the states.
I'm only 55 but feel it for other reasons. If I push too hard I'll die. If I don't push enough I won't improve. If I lie around and feel sorry for myself I might as well be dead. I've opted for full steam ahead but just below the point of stupid.
Let me know if you need any parts. I have a customer who has a few Fords and a ton of Chevy and GMC COE's, maybe 15-20 in all. Always liked them myself.
That sounds like a head gasket and/ or a cracked head. You can change the gasket first if it's not too much and that may be it, or you could get the head magnafluxed and checked with a machinist strait edge while it's off.
Thanks Bert. That was predicted to be 1/2″ of freezing rain. I've been a good patient, taking my pills, staying on a no/low salt diet and exercising. Physically my heart has returned to borderline normal, something that as I understand just doesn't happen. I still don't have anywhere near the stamina I used to have but I'll take the results so far any day. The back of the store is now also a private gym with a home gym/weight bench, elliptical and soon a treadmill as soon as I get it working. The six hours of shoveling snow would have taken two in past years but I have to work smart now, using the opportunity to strengthen my heart as opposed to giving it a heart attack. Bottom line is I just may be around for my daughters wedding, something that seemed impossible not too long ago.
Well it'll be two years this Tuesday since being released from OHSU, and I thought I'd do a few tests to make sure the tickers still working . The first was shoveling snow for six strait hours Friday. This morning was getting out at 6:00am to chop wood at -1 degrees. If that doesn't confirm you're still alive nothing will
First things first. What type of oil did you put back in? The tank under the seat is for your hydraulic system, it should be AW32 or AW46. The “gear shift area” should be 90W or 75-90W gear oil. Does the Three point work?
