At the top of the page is a tab for “our dealers”. Affordable and Ranch Hand are dealers that have a large stock and support this site answering questions on their own time. Keno has a large stock as well, kinda depends on where you live.
One question just so we are clear; when was the battery hooked up backwards, when charging the battery or connecting it to the tractor after charging and testing?
You could remove the alternator and have it tested at a parts store but all joking aside if it smoked it's toast.
Alternators need the smoke inside for lubrication, they don't work so well once you let it out.
Agreed. To get from the sign in page, to the wall, to forums, to this forum took 4 minutes 50 seconds, unacceptable to say the least. Slower than dial up. Spring Valley's right, it's slow in the daytime and faster at night, way too many sites on one server. I'd ask for this months payment back and find another host company, this is just too painful.
It could be worse. We could all be like a friend of mine, still on his $4.95 Juno account. He comes over here if someone sends him a picture.
My plan exactly Carl.
If you put 36 lbs in them I hope you added shock absorbers too.
And whatever you do, Don't screw with the injector timing!
The rocker assembly has to come off to re-torque the head. If you are uncomfortable doing this you need to find someone who is. Any competent mechanic will have no problem doing this, and with only three cylinders it won't take long.
Dang, one thing I don't have is a borescope, if I did I would look at mine and let you know what I see.
That makes sense. I'm sure that went away for the same reason you don't see anyone using grain dust!
