I was planning on rebuilding the sun porch, until my wife brought home a horse. I've spent a month building a fenced off corral with one leg in a brace. At least that's done and I can start framing out the new permanent windows from the inside, and one good day is all it will take to remove the old reverse batten board T-111, put up the new and install the windows. I hope.
Stupid question: the fuel shutoff cable isn't stuck open on anything is it?
While not as easy to use as the right size threading die, I have standard and metric thread files. They are about 1/2″ square and 10″ long with 4 different pitch sizes on each end, giving you 8 thread pitches per file, and they're pretty cheap, way cheaper than one die that large that you will probably never use again.
I have 12 watt LED flood-lamps that replace a 75 watt incandescent. What would a 3,000 watt LED replace?.
And you're spot on Bob. I use a 5300k color matching light when matching paint, equal to noon at the equator. It's amazing how far florescent lights will throw a color off, and if the sun's not out it's the only way to check metallics and pearls.
I have that setup, seems to work quite well.
The left and right will only go where they go and a tape measure alignment with the wheel straight should be good enough for a tractor. Make your front of wheel measurement slightly less than the rear (about 1/4″) to give it a little toe in and it won't wander.
That's great Tom . I'm using mine to dig holes for a fence and used one of the pallet forks I made to hold a roll of fence, it would have been a pain to get the fencing where I needed it without it, and I can roll it right off the tractor. I'm using an electric pole saw to limb trees too, it's hot and dry and I feel safer knowing I won't spark a fire like I could with a gas saw.
Now if only I hadn't read the post on parts unavailability for the Quanchai engines.
What's the valve box for? Is it open center? Hope your pump surived
It used to be here before the nuclear meltdown awhile back, I have them in one of the manuals that came with the tractor somewhere.
However, either Ronald at Ranch Hand Supply or Tommy at Affordable in the dealers link will help you. It may be on one of their websites, I'm not sure.
Pinetr5000, I see this is your second post. I may or may not have seen the first one, however, Welcome to CTOA.
