Strange, mine is 11 (December 2007) And the “H” for heat is spring loaded. You hold it in the “H” position as long as you want the glow plugs on, continue to the right to “S” to start it, let go when it starts, and it returns to “ON”. I don’t believe it has another Start on the left. If it’s warm and I don’t need the glow plugs, I just go right past the “H” to the Start position.
I’ve never seen one with a dust cover. And are you saying you turn it back to the “off” position after starting it?
You’re making me want to plug in the tractor tomorrow and make sure it starts. It was -5 yesterday, haven’t run it in a couple weeks.
A little bit picky, but it’s Delo, not Delco.
Damn, wish I could find a deal like that :yahoo:
Well don’t quit here, I’m paying attention. Just start a new thread to edit if that’s what it takes to bypass the limitations of the website.

Your other option is to jump between the two large lugs and take the solenoid out of the equation completely.
Thank you. What terminals would I jump. Depending on whether I’ll try to take a picture of the actual starter maybe you can direct me to which terminals I should try jumping Thank you so much Joe
Sorry I’m late, here’s the pic. But I missed what Larry replied to, mine never lost everything else.
