They're still here Carl, under tractor troubleshooting “won't stay running”. It was moved here so as not to hijack the original thread.
Does a 2003 have a screen in the sump and no extenal filter? Maybe a dirty screen? Caution: this from someone who has no experience in this, just what I've read on these forums. Looking foward to hearing the final solution.
With access to the old forums and my Finally wrapping my brain around the photo uploading (I think it was a glitch at first because I'm not doing anything different and it's working ) I'm with Rich. Now that the forums are filled out the differences are minor, and overall better
Brad, sometimes we all need to vent, before we explode, no biggie. My rant is with pre paid minimums for my freight. From my paint suppliers it's up to $4,000.00. Now I have to project out three to four weeks how much of what I'll sell, and I carry four paint lines
Now that's out of the way…. Tommy, if I ever get around to wanting a back hoe, can you put it in a Priority Mail box?
I seem to remember something in the old forums about the use of a Honda key blank working, I'll see if I can find it
Here it is :My original ignition key for my Iron Horse 224 was cheap and kept bending.
The old honda key blanks fit this ignition switch.Ilco key blank #HO44
ESP key blank #HD69These are nickle plated brass keys and are much stronger than the originals.

Acually Jack I put the thing together where it was upside down. The frame was a little tweaked and that was the only way to get the legs slid in. The bucket and rope were used to turn it right side up. After that picture I put a 2×4 under the frame, lowered the bucket, re-tied the rope and did it again. The only way I could figure to flip it by myself. Now that you mention it the forks would have given me more height And I did try it out. 15 seconds was enough to tell it was good to go and that I have no business being on it
Update on the “sprinkler”. The spring pad seems to have been mis-boxed but everything else turned out great
For a parade truck an older Dodge pickup Cummins (no computer controls) would get it roadworthy. Maybe someone out there who's single could tackle it.
I can't see any scenario where ” Honey, there's this neat old fire truck I'd like to fix up” would not end with “Honey, what are you going to do with that rolling pin?”
Cool looking truck though A customer has a CNC shop, but I think he sold his plastic injection machines Someone out there could make the blanks for rotors if they had the specs
I too am sorry to hear that Larry. You and Bob have around twenty years on me.
My back is already worthless never knowing what will put me out of commission for weeks. I had a piece of cartilage the size of a finger come off my left lower leg bone and get jambed in the knee joint, had that removed 25 years ago. Since the ladder incident if I lift my right arm over my head the right way the whole right side of my core locks up causing extreme pain and breathing difficultly. After an accident 8 years ago it was recommended I get reconstruction or replacement of my right shoulder, I passed. Now I guess I have this to look forward to. I don't know a thing about arthritis but I hope the docs can keep it under control for you guys.
Jack, what Rich said. When it comes to wire feed welders you NEED a smooth quality feed system, and cheaper welders will have a duty cycle that leaves you waiting more than welding
Plasma cutters spray hot sparks farther than a torch but are far faster and more precise. Simply clamp a 2×4 for a guide and make a strait cut in nothing flat
