Yea, know how it is . Two steps forward one step back. Please keep me in mind when you get around to it. Many thanks !!!!!!
dogdoc, so when I remove the three bolt caps on the valve cover and lift it off of the cylinder head. What can I expect to happen ??? Any parts fall off, come loose ?? Just wonder what is inside that valve cover. And is that compression relief functioning at all???
I would say very little resistance. About what it takes to move the spring. Are you going to attempt the re-torque soon ???????
Tinbender, let me know how it went when you get around to doing it. Moving the leaver by hand there is no resistance. So it seems that it is not connected to anything on the valve train. But still do not know what will happen when one lifts the valve cover off. Many thanks !!!!!!
There is nothing connected to it. It stands alone. Just a spring/leaver assembly.
Thanks pjr,
I have not reached the 50hr mark but getting close. Thanks for the info. 106hrs on your and glad to hear everything is good.
Hey, pjr have you done the 50 hour re-torque?????? If so how did it go??? I'm getting close.
Thanks
